Spidey keeps thinking he sees Gwen but shrugs it off as lingering Mysterio side effects. While snooping around the Bugle as Spidey and then Peter to figure out what happened to JJJ, Joe Robbie takes him to lunch to show him a ransom note from Paris! Joe decides to take Peter to Paris with him along with the ransom. Just before Peter takes off from the airport he gets a huge smooch from MJ!

Spidey is searching the streets of Paris for the recently kidnapped Joe Robbie and JJJ! With nothing to show for his effort he returns to his hotel room to give Aunt May a call. Aunt May is doing splendid until she gets off the phone and heads out for a walk with Anna Watson. Outside she sees a girl that causes her to think she’s lost her mind!

The Human Torch answers a distress call from Tony Stark in Detroit. There Iron Man and the torch solve a series of murders and a seeming threat to Tony’s life. A batty villain named Infinitus is causing all the mayhem, will they be able to stop him?

We begin with the off-beat Spider mobile being driven by Spider-Man as he feels it will help him track the Jackal. After a Steve McQueen maneuver to avoid the cops he manages to drive off a pier and has to walk home because his web shooters are soaked through.

Episode 95. James B and Eddie discuss two issues in which the villains have very elaborate plans which go awry.

In 1934 in Giant Size Spider-Man 3, Time Traveler Desinna explains to Doc Savage and his crew that she’s a time traveler from a parallel universe and that a phantom that fought Spidey was an evil energy construction of a scientist named Tarros about to arrive in 1934.
Meanwhile In 2022 James B and Eddie explain what they like and don’t like about this book.
(8:40) From January 1975 The Amazing Spider-man no. 140 in “...And one will fall!” by Gerry Conway, Ross Andru, F. Giacoia and D. Hunt.
To start this book we recall Peter Parker’s capture by The Jackal and The Grizzly. The Jackal has put a mechanical trap onto Peter’s forearm to act as a homing device. Through a radio speaker in the device, he tells Peter it will disintegrate his arm if he takes it off.

Yes, this is 616 Spider-Man.

Although Jinku manages a clever ruse, he and his lava people are eventually defeated in battle involving 100,000s of combatants and return to their lava home.

Episode 91. James B and Eddie discuss two 1974 issues with tough decisions for ol’ webhead.
(1:59) In the Amazing Spider-man 137 “The Green Goblin Strikes!” We open with the Goblin attacking an “Atomic Industries” truck and stealing a small metal cylinder which he uses to create a traumatic triple jeopardy for Spidey.
(16:02) Giant-Size Spider-man and Master of Kung Fu in “Masterstroke!” Spiderman stops a robbery but these thugs use karate and nunchucks and throwing stars. They say they serve Shang Chi and then they are all electrocuted in their suits and die. Meanwhile Shang Chi faces thugs are dressed like Spidey fans and tell Shang Chi that they work for Spider-Man.

Peter’s enjoying a day boat ride down the East River with Liz, MJ, and Flash when the Tarantula accompanied by his sidekicks, Hidalgo and Juan, hijack the boat! Peter slips away while the Tarantula subdues the crew with a few “stings”. In the scuffle a crew member is thrown overboard but thankfully saved by Spidey when he swings him onto a nearby bridge.
