Tiger Shark, created by Dr. Dorcas, killed Namor’s father and Namor is about to catch him when Spider-Man interferes allowing Tiger Shark to escape.
(10:37) Marvel Team Up 15 Spidey and Ghost Rider in “If An Eye Offend Thee.
MJ convinces Spider-Man to take in a motorcycle show featuring Ghost Rider and his girlfriend Roxanne. A villain called “The Orb” appears on motorcycles and hypnotizes the police and all the fans except Spidey.
(15:41) Marvel Team Up 16 Spidey and Captain Marvel in “Beware the Basilisk My Son”
A jewel thief accidentally steals a gem that is one of two powerful Kree artifacts. It gives him the ability to shoot rays from his eyes and he names himself the Basilisk.
(18:36) Marvel Team Up 17 Spidey and Mr. Fantastic in Chaos at the Earth’s Core.
Spider-Man is unknowingly being followed by the Basilisk as he seeks out Mr. Fantastic. The heroes determine the omega stone is in the center of the earth. They go down but are captured by the Moleman!

Episode 79. James B and Eddie discuss at length the death of Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin, MJ and Peter’s relationship and that JJJ hires Luke Cage to stop Spider-Man.
(1:37) The Amazing Spider-man 122 “The Goblin’s Last Stand”
Gwen is dead in Spider-man’s arms on top of the George Washington bridge while the Goblin flies about mocking him! Spidey lays Gwen down at the foot of the bridge and attacks Gobby with intent to kill him.
(8:19) The Amazing Spider-man 123 “... Just a Man Called Cage!”
Norman Osborn is dead and JJJ knows it was Spider-man who killed him! A shadowy figure looks on from a distance informing the reader he was the one who removed the GG costume from Norman’s body and that Spider-man will pay with his life! JJJ hatches a plan to catch Spidey on his drive back to the office.
(13:54) Inspired by JJJ, Eddie tries to hire his own Superhero. Listen to what happens.

Episode 78. James B and Eddie conclude Peter in Canada with The Incredible Hulk (The Amazing Spider-Man 120) and then return to the United States to tackle the famous landmark issue 121.

Just as it looks like Spidey will have a watery grave Hulk saves him! The book quickly shifts to the other plotline. Now that Peter has photos of the Hulk, he wants to get to the Aunt May mystery of Jean-Pierre Rimbauld. Before he can get all his answers, “Thunderbolt” Ross shows up again asking questions about the Hulk and Spider-Man. Then someone dies!

(11:11) The Amazing Spider-man 121 “The Night Gwen Stacy Died!”
Spider-man is back in NYC and he’s looking at Harry struggling to cope with his LSD hangover. Peter sneaks into the Osborn mansion and is accosted by Norman. Norman’s doctor arrives to sedate Harry and soon after Norman has visions of Spider-man. His mind snaps, he runs to find a GG costume in an old hideout and flies off ready to cause problems. Then someone dies!

Episode 77. James B and Eddie are joined by Sara Pezel to discuss two issues involving The Smasher, and the o.g. “smasher”, The Incredible Hulk. Also, Eddie sprinkles in some trivia questions during the episode.
(2:43) The Amazing Spider-man 118 "Countdown to Chaos!"
Joe Robbie is in trouble! The Smasher is trying to kidnap him! Thankfully Spidey swings in to save him by luring the Smasher away. On the rooftops Spidey tags ol' Smashy with a tracker and swings away. Soon after, Peter catches up to MJ, Harry, and Gwen who's very happy to see him.
(11:45) The Amazing Spider-man 119 "The Gentleman's Name is... Hulk!"
Peter has an urgent telegram from Montreal for Aunt May so he goes to visit his doting aunt at her friend Doc Ock's house. She is still caretaker for the house and Doc Ock's associates while he works out his legal problems. While in Canada, Spider-Man runs into The Hulk.

Spider-man is attacked by “The Cat” , a super heroine who only wants to show him her powers. The Cat in this issue has been tracking Katrina Van Horn who appears to be a woman killing male politicians.
(6:38) Marvel Team Up 9 Spidey and Iron Man in “The Tomorrow War”
Avengers Mansion has got some sort of force field around it. Iron Man is trying to get in when Spider-Man joins Iron Man as they jump into a break in the forcefield and find themselves in limbo.

We pick up events in the 23rd century as Zarrko reveals to Kang the Conqueror his plan to use chronal radiation to turn the 20th century back to the stone age

Spider-Man reaches the inhumans and with Black Bolt’s insane brother’s help, us the final bomb to send Spider-Man and the inhumans forward in time. They battle their way to Kang and the Tomorrow Man fighting Kang’s army of henchmen and then Spider-Man and the Inhumans finally reach the villains.

Spidey declares he’s bored while he reads a political billboard for Richard Raleigh who's running for Mayor! Thankfully, a 10ft super fast giant illistically named “Smasher” crashes through the billboard! Spidey briefly tangles with the titan but must save two billboard workers and loses the villain. At the Bugle JJJ is reiterating to Joe Robbie that he doesn’t need his political opinions.

(11:42) The Amazing Spider-Man 117 "The Deadly Designs of the Disruptor"
Peter Parker manages to stop the roof collapsing at a charity fundraiser for Richard Raleigh until the people slip away. Following the event, Reed Richards look-a- like Raleigh plays up his tough on crime stance and vows to catch whoever was responsible.

Episode 74. James B and Eddie are discussing two issues involving Doctor Octopus and Hammerhead.
The Amazing Spider-man 114 “Gang war, shmang war! What I want to know is… who the heck is Hammerhead?”
Spidey is springing into action as Hammerhead and his goons fire tommy guns at him! Even Waldo the butler is shooting at spidey which is impressive! Spidey makes a seemingly quick exit only to circle back to take out two of Hammerhead’s best goons and punch Hammerhead's head which is unnaturally flat and solid as a brick.
The Amazing Spider-man 115 “The Last Battle!”
In Doc Ock’s house in Westchester NY, as Spider-man lays unconscious having been hit by the vase of the mighty Aunt May Parker, Hammerhead crashes through the door to settle a score with Doc Ock. The kind doctor quickly hides behind a steel wall and Hammerhead along with his goons realize they are in danger when lasers shoot at them from the hat hooks!
