Episode 63. Eddie and James B are joined by Steve to discuss a favorite comic of his. In The Amazing Spider-Man 98 “The Goblin's Last Gasp!” Peter is trying to call for help to save Harry but the Goblin is right outside his window! The Goblin crashes through the apartment window to attack but is disturbed by the sight of sickly Harry.
In ASM 99 (14:25) “A Day in the Life of... (featuring: Panic in the Prison)” Peter is sent on assignment to a prison riot where the warden is being held hostage. Spidey learns the prisoners' demands are reasonable and that they are being lead by a two timing criminal named Turpo. Will he help the prisoners?

Episode 62. Eddie and James B discuss this landmark issue in the history of comics. In The Amazing Spider-Man 96 “And Now The Goblin” Peter is on his way back from London forlorn because he failed to find Gwen. But the pictures he took of Spidey fighting the terrorists are excellent so that's good, right? Joe Robbie also has possibly figured out that Peter and Spidey are one and the same. Oh, that's not so good.
In ASM 97 (10:45) “In The Grip of the Goblin” Harry gets irritated with Peter for not stopping MJ’s advances. Peter and Harry run into MJ who makes more advances towards Peter. In an alley Harry is sold some drugs. What will he do?

Episode 61. Eddie and James B are celebrating 6 months of podcasting with really good microphones (only took 6 months) while discussing issues 94 and 95 of The Amazing Spider-Man. In ASM 94 “On Wings of Death” Peter is still torn up about Gwen leaving to live in London. Across town we see the Beetle breaking into random mom and pops stores. Eventually the Beetle finds the one he wants adjacent to a bank vault and takes Aunt May hostage during the robbery.
In ASM 95 (05:30) "Trap for a Terrorist!" (which Eddie decided to call “Spidey Fights in London!” because it says that on the cover), Peter returns to staring at the ground while walking about thinking about Gwen in London. In a rare stroke of luck Robbie decides to send him to London on the Daily Bugle’s dime! While landing in London, it is discovered that the plane contains a terrorist bomb! Peter wants to switch to Spider-Man but realizes Gwen will know he’s Spider-man if she learns Peter is also in London! What will he do?

Episode 60. Eddie and James B are joined by comedy writer Charlie Stayton to discuss issues 92 and 93 of The Amazing Spider-Man. In the Amazing Spider-man 92 “When Iceman Attacks”, Spider-man finds Gwen and Sam Bullit in Peter’s apartment and takes off with a reluctant Gwen in his arms! He swings off with Gwen to help hide his identity but doesn’t count on Iceman coming after him! Back at the Bugle we see JJJ standing up to Sam Bullit’s threats against Peter. Later in Issue 93 (08:24), “The Lady and the Prowler!” Gwendy is rightly feeling neglected by Peter when her Uncle in London offers her a chance to live with her. Episode 59 of LRSM. "The Live Podcast". That's right Eddie and James B are alone AND without show notes because they have not even read the issue they are going to Podcast about. Listen to the review of The Amazing Spider-Man 91 to find out if it goes smoothly or it's a train wreck. Want to know what happens in the issue? After her father's death, Gwen Stacy visits Sam Bullit, who is in a campaign against masked heroes, and offers to help him win his election. Gwen hates Spider-Man and blames him for the death of her father, Captain Stacy. Gwen Stacy has a prominent role as does J. Jonah Jameson. James B uses a lot of slap, cricket and car sound effects. Listeners are challenged to find the "mystery" sound effect. Speaking of games, a game involving character origins is also played.

Episode 58 of LRSM. Eddie and James B are alone again. After telling a bunch of jokes while battling Doc Ock's arms, Peter Parker faints and wakes up in Captain Stacy's house? Feeling much better, he heads home and concocts something he thinks will stop Doc Ock and loads it into his web shooters. Eventually he catches up with the tentacled doctor and his mystery web fluid causes Doc Ocks arms to turn on him! Later tragedy strikes as Capt Stacy ends up crushed by debris after saving a young child.

Episode 57 of LRSM. Eddie and James B are joined by host of the Daily Spider Panel, Sara Pezel to discuss issues 88 and 89 of The Amazing Spider-Man from 1970. In issue 88, We begin at the Museum of Natural Science where Doc Ock’s arms are on exhibit. During a lecture we are informed that the arms still hold a threat. In a lonely midwest prison Doc Ock senses his arms and focuses his mental control on them. With impeccable timing, Doc Ock succeeds and is able to control his arms in the middle of the lecture.
Later in issue 89, Doc Ock intends to draw Spider-man into combat to defeat him once and for all! Meanwhile, Peter is approached to protest air pollution and looks weak when he says he can’t. Eventually Doctor Octopus battles Spider-Man aboard a plane full of hostages and foreign dignitaries. Was this the best fight ever? Should Sara replace Eddie as the new summary person? Episode 55 of LRSM. Eddie and James B are joined by SuperMarcey of the SuperNetwork to discuss two issues not featuring Dirty Pool but both featuring the Kingpin. In issue 84, Spidey is still struggling for money and is out to get the $5000 reward for capturing the Schemer. With snow coming down he decides to swing over to Gwen’s to see how she’s recovering. Gwen and her father probe Peter about his relationship with Spider-man and a nervous Peter makes a quick uncomfortable exit! "The Schemer" is driving around in his Super Car threatening The Kingpin and Peter awkwardly makes excuses to avoid talking to Gwen. Which is a bigger problem?
In The Amazing Spider-Man 85 they are still asking questions about his relationship with Spider-man when Peter hatches a plan to confuse them. The next morning the Kingpin is enjoying reading the newspaper when he sees a photo of Vanessa helping the Schemer to escape their previous encounter! Who is having worse "women" problems, Spider-Man or Wilson Fisk?
