In Issue 68 The Kingpin Wilson Fisk uses a campus demonstration attended by Randy Robertson, son of Joe Robertson as a diversion to steal an ancient clay tablet. Also Captain Stacy and Joe Robertson compare notes, the Green Goblin nearly has his memory back and the first (unnamed) appearance of Randy Robertson. Eddie and James B are joined by Steven Tatum @stevenbtatum to discuss the social commentary within the 1968 The Amazing Spider-Man issue 62 as Spider-Man battles Medusa, one of the Inhumans. Then the original Vulture is revealed to be still alive. He steals a second set of wings and frees the second Vulture, Blackie Drago, from prison. Peter Parker pines for Gwen Stacy who cries in many panels. A scared little boy opens the issue and frightened little boy makes an appearance at the end. J. Spider-Man discovers that the Kingpin is behind it all and battles him along with a brainwashed Captain Stacy who eventually is used as bait to trap Spider-Man. Eddie and James B debate if Gwen should be mad at Peter or her father when Peter provides the Daily Bugle incriminating photos of her dad. A new sponsor joins the podcast. James B and Eddie compare the 1960's comic book to the fourth movie in which Peter Parker once again gains spider-like powers, including super-strength, enhanced reflexes, an involuntary "spider sense" that warns him of incoming danger, and the ability to climb walls. Following a personal tragedy, he decides to use his newfound powers for good, and begins fighting crime and injustice as The Amazing Spider-Man against Doctor Curt Connors the Lizard in the 2012 film. Episode 34 of LRSM features Steve "Eddie" Ditko and John "James B" Romita discussing how Doctor Octopus steals the Nullifier and uses it on Spider-Man, causing him to forget who he is. Later, having lost his memory, Spider-Man helps Doctor Octopus and John Jameson repays a debt to Spider-Man. These issues feature the first appearance of Retried Police Captain George Stacy who handles a phone call from his worried daughter, Gwen.
